Shedding Tears

Gray clouds sheds filling my sorrows
with tears cascading into rivers of
polluted souls.

The earth absorbs the pain and quake
with disgust as her dark life blood
seeps beyond her control contaminating
another part of herself, as inhabitants
gorge on her flesh and defecate her
gifts without thanks. C-2-O escapes
our bodies feeding trees being savagely
ravished by the competition of progress,
oxygen depletion creeping while we're
sleeping.

Water surges beyond terra forma
teaching lessons that the survivors
contemplate too late, now rebuilding
on hills and still ...

Gray clouds sheds filling my tears with
sorrows cascading into rivers of polluted
souls.

Hot air swells death with every noxious
breath as industry bellows cumulus
profits strangling our lives with choked
lies of capitalist aspirations we -
aspirate with diminishing return, H-2-O
trying to navigate through the haze and
smog of freeway clogs as asthma
contagions threatens the next generation.

Gray clouds shedding its existence
filling my tears with sorrows
cascading into rivers of polluted
souls.

Who's to blame? Those who know and
forego truths hiding under the blanket
of corporate laws, salvation only found
in damning the damned, with the world's
fate at hand - where do you stand?
